The on-line voting period for the Purina Pet Comedy Challenge ("Contest") starts at 12:00 noon Central Time (CT) on April 1, 2008 and ends at 12:00 noon CT on April 22, 2008. Contest sponsored by Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, Checkerboard Square, St. Louis, MO 63164 ("Sponsor"), implemented by Kicking Cow Promotions, Inc., and administered by RMA, Inc., an independent judging organization.
ABOUT THE CONTEST: In looking for the funniest, family-oriented comedy routines inspired by a family dog or cat, the Sponsor conducted four regional comedy competitions in February and March, 2008 where First, Second, Third, and Fourth place winners were selected by a panel of judges. The First and Second place winners in each region qualified for the Pet Comedy Challenge Final in St. Louis, MO on May 3, 2008. Third and Fourth place winners from each regional competition are entered into an on-line competition open to consumer voting. The top two vote-getters from the on-line competition will participate in the Pet Comedy Challenge Finals on May 3, 2008.
HOW TO VOTE: Visit www.PetComedyChallenge.com to view our eight comedy routines. Then follow the on-line instructions to vote for your favorite comedy routine. Limit one vote per individual per day. If you submit more than one vote per day, only the vote that is received and processed first will be registered. All votes must be submitted online between 12:00 noon CT on April 1, 2008 and 12:00 noon CT on April 22, 2008.
RELEASES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS: By voting in this Contest, you agree: (a) to be bound by these voting guidelines and the decisions of the Sponsor and RMA, which shall be final and binding, and (b) that the Sponsor, its parent companies, their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with the voting portion of the Contest, whether caused by Website users, tampering, hacking, or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the voting portion of the Contest; (2) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or unauthorized access to the Website or in any materials associated with the voting portion of the Contest; (3) any injury, damage, or loss to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the voting portion of the Contest or downloading materials from, or otherwise using, the Website; (4) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (5) any design, typographical or other errors in any materials associated with the voting portion of the Contest; (6) misdirected, late, lost, undelivered, or unprocessed votes; (7) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor or it's agents which may cause the voting portion of the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; or (8) any loss, injury or damage of any kind caused by participation in the voting portion of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend all or any portion of the voting portion of this Contest should fraud, virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, systems malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor and its agencies corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the voting portion of the Contest.
WHO WON: The winning comedy routines from the Pet Comedy Challenge Finals in St. Louis, MO, will be posted online on or about June 16, 2008.
